drb Ignite Trust is proud to announce, Hob Green Primary Schools achievement of the IQM Inclusive School Award, a testament to its unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all its pupils.

The award, presented by the Inclusion Quality Mark (UK) Ltd, recognises Hob Green’s exceptional dedication to ensuring every child, regardless of background or ability, receives an outstanding education.

Hob Green Primary School is a beacon of inclusivity, serving a diverse community of approximately 250 pupils. With a robust Nursery provision and a Speech and Language Base catering to pupils aged 5-11 years, the school reflects its community’s rich tapestry. Ms. Lisa-Anne Rogers, the assessor for the IQM assessment, praised Hob Green’s inclusive ethos, describing it as “a piece of rock with inclusion running straight through its core.” The school’s leadership, under the guidance of an inspirational Headteacher and dedicated leadership team, has led initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for all pupils. By prioritising staff training, nurturing positive relationships, and implementing evidence-based strategies, Hob Green ensures every child thrives academically and emotionally.

In addition to its exceptional educational provision, Hob Green actively engages with its wider community, forging strong partnerships with families, local agencies, and other educational institutions. The school’s collaborative efforts extend beyond its premises, contributing to initiatives such as the junior Police Community Support Officer program and global citizenship projects.

“We are immensely proud of this recognition, which validates our ongoing commitment to inclusivity,” commented Lucy Williams, Headteacher of Hob Green Primary School. “At Hob Green, every child’s potential is nurtured, and diversity is celebrated. This award is a testament to the dedication of our staff, the support of our families, and the resilience of our pupils.”
