The award, presented by the Inclusion Quality Mark (UK) Ltd, recognises Hob Green’s exceptional dedication to ensuring every child, regardless of background or ability, receives an outstanding education.
Hob Green Primary School is a beacon of inclusivity, serving a diverse community of approximately 250 pupils. With a robust Nursery provision and a Speech and Language Base catering to pupils aged 5-11 years, the school reflects its community’s rich tapestry. Notably, Hob Green’s proactive approach to inclusion has led to significant strides in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those from English as an Additional Language (EAL) backgrounds.
Ms. Lisa-Anne Rogers, the assessor for the IQM assessment, praised Hob Green’s inclusive ethos, describing it as “a piece of rock with inclusion running straight through its core.” The school’s leadership, under the guidance of an inspirational Headteacher and dedicated leadership team, has led initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for all pupils. By prioritising staff training, nurturing positive relationships, and implementing evidence-based strategies, Hob Green ensures every child thrives academically and emotionally.
In addition to its exceptional educational provision, Hob Green actively engages with its wider community, forging strong partnerships with families, local agencies, and other educational institutions. The school’s collaborative efforts extend beyond its premises, contributing to initiatives such as the junior Police Community Support Officer program and global citizenship projects.
