We are seeking a truly inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join The Oval School. You will take responsibility for the upper phase (Y4 – 6) and be an ECT mentor.

In addition to an impressive track record of school improvement, you will have strong leadership skills and the credibility to motivate and empower others. You will be committed to the highest achievement for all. You will be a resourceful, inclusive and enthusiastic educationalist.

You will fulfil the role of overseeing the wider curriculum and together with the SLT, work to ensure that all pupils reach their fullest potential through a rich and varied curriculum.

We are looking for a School Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team to contribute towards a safe, happy and engaging office provision.

Specific responsibilities:

  • telephone and reception duties, including dealing with enquiries from parents and professionals. 
  • dealing with orders, deliveries and stock control.
  • maintaining a safe, orderly environment. 
  • undertaking specific administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, preparing information packs for parents and visitors and maintaining display areas. 
  • maintenance of files and pupil records. 
  • maintenance of ParentPay to ensure payment collection is managed. 
  • work as part of Jervoise School team. 
  • safeguarding children and young people.
