Dudley South’s MP recently joined the vibrant community of Bromley Pensnett Primary School in celebrating its recent achievement in the Ofsted inspection. Following the inspection in December, the school received glowing feedback, earning a ‘good’ rating across all areas, as officially confirmed in the February-published report.
Highlighted in the report was the school’s commitment to inclusivity and its commendable broad and ambitious curriculum. Mike Wood MP, a familiar face at Bromley Pensnett, commended the collective effort of staff, students, and parents in attaining this significant milestone. He remarked, “All the staff, students, and parents have worked so hard to achieve this new Ofsted rating, and it’s been great to come along to celebrate with them. They should all be incredibly proud of this achievement.”

The report particularly lauded the school’s prioritization of reading, recognizing it as a top focus area. It commended the school’s efforts in fostering a love for reading from an early stage, reflecting the extensive investment made in the school’s reading curriculum over recent years.
Justin also elaborated on the school’s commitment to enhancing reading skills, noting the significant improvements achieved through focused efforts on phonics teaching. He emphasized the presence of a highly skilled team of reading teachers contributing to the overall quality of education provided at Bromley Pensnett.
