Earlier this month, we hosted our first ever Early Career Teacher Induction Day at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham.
The day was carefully planned to provide a gentle and welcoming introduction to the Trust. This included presentations from the Trust Chair, David Sheldon and CEO, Robert Bowater. There was also lots of opportunity for our new staff to learn a little about each other as well as completing practical tasks like collecting IT equipment and having ID photographs taken.
We are very excited to have newly qualified teachers working alongside us! We are also committed to ensuring they are fully engaged in stimulating, varied and challenging professional development which will enable them to meet all of the Teachers’ Standards and enjoy their first year of teaching.
We know that our pupils will benefit enormously from the vibrancy teachers new to the profession bring and we will keep you updated on their progress!
