COVID-19: Moving forwards

All legal COVID-19 restrictions have now been lifted, including the legal requirement to self-isolate when infected. However, the Trust remains committed to taking independent steps to operate in appropriate ways to best serve our pupils, staff and families.

This is in response to the continued presence of the virus in our local communities.

We will continue to be guided by the two principles we set out at the very beginning of the pandemic:

• the safety and welfare of pupils, staff and families will always be the paramount principle for all our decision making
• schools will continue to organise themselves in ways that are compatible with minimising spread of the virus and maintaining high levels of infection control.

In this way, we feel we can be most confident in terms of ensuring the health and safety of everyone!
